Change

The country is equally divided in half when it comes to accepting and fearing change. Some people love change, maybe even crave it and want a different outcome. Instead of eating the same bowl of cereal every morning, why not have oatmeal or go out to breakfast? The outcomes may not always be what you wanted, but people like this are just generally happy that something is different.
Then there are the people who hate it, fear it, or are just content with the way things are. They want to follow the same routine day after day because it works and why change what is already perfect?
Either way, i dont understand why both usually become violent on a national level. Countries everywhere are upset that someone is trying to change them, or that their overthrow of government isnt working and no one will come help. For the presidential election, some wanted to stay in Iraq and have a generic old man with experience, while others wanted to try out some new ideas and completely change history with a black president.
Regardless of the changes made on a day-to-day basis, its ridiculous that people get so upset over beliefs and values of other people and make it hard to coexist.
